It was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009. It is a type of Cryptocurrency, otherwise called as decentralised Digital currency which uses rules of cryptography for regulation & generation of units of currency. These Bitcoins are completely virtual coins designed to be self contained for their value. You can use your Bitcoins to purchase goods and services online. Many people store their bitcoins for long time and hope that their value increases over the years.

The supply of Bitcoins are tightly controlled by the underlying algorithm. A small number of new bitcoins are tickle out every hour, & the supply limit of these bitcoins are 21000000. According to a report there were 3 to 6 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet & among these most of using bitcoin. The ticker symbols of bitcoins are BTC & XBT.

Difference Between Software & Hardware

Software
It is defined as the collection of instructions that enables a user to interact with the computer.It is a program that enables a computer to perform a specific task, as opposed to the physical components of the system. The software is also called as the set of coding. Software is developed by writing instructions in programming language.The operations of computer are controlled through software.

If software is damaged or corrupted, its backup copy can be reinstalled.Software is affected by computer viruses & it can be transferred from one place to another electrically through network. Software is generally not needed for the hardware to perform its basic level tasks such as turning on & responding to input. To deliver its set of instructions, software is installed on hardware.Software doesn't have an increasing failure rate. Software doesn't wear out over time.However,bugs are discovered in software as time passes.User can not touch & feel it. Examples are:-Internet Explorer, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat etc.

Software is divided into three categories i.e;

System Software
Programming Software
Application Software

The system software mainly indicates the operating systems. There are many operating systems like Android, Windows, Linux etc. So, the work of system software is to run a device with more efficiently and accurately. The whole device able to perform for the system software. We can call the system software as the primary infrastructure of a device. Without the system software a device will not perform.

The programming software is generally for the software programmers like android developers, windows developers etc. With the help of this software developers are able to write computer programs which is helpful for the OS(operating system) update.

The application software is the main software for running applications on phones and computers. With the help of this software all the applications are managed. There are many applications like games, editing, shopping etc are managed over the application software.

Hardware
The physical components of the computer are known as hardware. A user can touch, see & feel it. Hardware devices are required to store & run the software. Simply if you compare between software and hardware then a common difference comes i.e; the hardware are used to make software and the software are used to functioning the hardware. We run the software applications on the hardware like our computer and phone. We play games, edit videos in our phones.

Hardware is constructed using physical materials or components.Computer is a hardware device which operates under the control of a software. There are many types of hardware devices such as; input, storage, processing, control, & output devices. Hardware serve as the delivery system for software solutions.Hardware starts functioning once software is loaded. Hardware failure is random.It wears out over time. If hardware is damaged, it is replaced with new one.Hardware is not affected by computer viruses.It can not be transferred from one place to another electrically through network. Examples are:-Routers, Printer, CD-ROM, Monitor, Scanners, Mouse, Keyboard, Modems etc.

After all you know that software and hardware are both related to each other. Without one among these other can not exist. Because without the help of hardware a software can't build and without software a hardware is nothing. Suppose, think if there are many computers and phones available but no applications are exist, then what will happen? So, both the software and hardware are important for each other.

What Is CPU?? Types Of CPUs!!

Definition
The Central Processing Unit (CPU) of a computer is a piece hardware which carries out the instructions of a computer program.It performs the basic arithmetical, logical, & input/output operations of a computer system.The CPU is like the brains of the computer.The CPU is sometimes also referred as processor for short.So when you are looking at the specifications of a computer at your local electronics store, it generally refers to the CPU as the processor. Because the CPU controls all the information like it receives data, store and giving output at the computer screen.

Elements
A CPU has a number of elements. The first is the arithmetic logic unit (ALU), which performs simple arithmetic & logical operations.Second is the control unit (CU), which manages the various components of the computer.It reads & interprets instructions from memory & transforms them into a series of signals to activate other parts of the computer.The control unit calls upon the arithmetic logic unit to perform the necessary calculations.

Now CPUs consisted of many separate components, but since the 1970s, they have been constructed as a single integrated unit called a microprocessor.The individual components of a CPU have become so integrated that you can't even recognize them from the outside.

CPUs are located on the motherboard.Motherboards have a socket for this, which is specific for a certain type of processor.A CPU gets very hot & therefore needs its own cooling system in the form of a heat sink or fan.

To a computer, the world consists of zeros & ones. This zeros and ones are called as binary numbers. Inside a processor, We can stores zeros & ones using transistors.These are microscopic switches that control the flow of electricity depending on whether the switch is on or off. So the transistor contains binary information. Transistors are located on a very thin slice of silicon.A single silicon chip can contain thousands of transistors.A single CPU contains a large number of chips.

Like CPU, there are also a processing unit called GPU.The transistors of CPU is more than the graphics processing unit. Because CPU handles the whole control of the computer, it is the central processor of a computer where as the graphics processing unit is only the graphics processor of the computer. Except graphics the GPU does not control anything in the computer. So that CPU controls whole the computer by receiving and collecting data with proper management and gives a perfect output for the particular input.

Types Of CPU
There are generally 3 types of computer CPU's called as;
(1) Single Core CPU
(2) Dual Core CPU
(3) Quad Core CPU

* The single core CPU having only one core and it can do only one task at a time. This type of CPU does not perform well, if you do multi task in the computer. So when you will need to do another task then you have need to finish the existing task. Therefore, in present days its uses became decrease and most of the manufacturer also does not provides this type of CPU's.

* The 2nd type of CPU is dual core CPU. This CPU having two cores and it can do multi tasking at a time. The speed of this CPU is more than the single core CPU. It can analyze and manage information and data's more accurately than the single core CPU.

* At last the 3rd type of CPU is called as quad core CPU. This CPU having four cores and it also do multi tasking better than the dual core CPU. The performance of this CPU is more than the single core and dual core CPU's. It analyzes and manages data more accurately than the other CPU's.

What Is RAM & ROM ???

RAM
It is generally known as "Random Access Memory". RAM is a form of data storage that can be accessed randomly at any time, in any order and from any physical location. The data's release from CPU are totally control by RAM. It sends the command to the screen to when and what will be the output. If your smartphone or computer having a good and powerful RAM then the performance of your device will be excellent.

Now-a-days there are many flagship phones are available in which you will get a high RAM. In computers there are more heavy RAM's are available like the DDR3, DDR4 etc. These RAM's having a double data rate means they have more speed and less power consumption than normal RAM. So that the device processor will work properly if there are a good RAM inside the device.

Some characteristics of RAM;

It is volatile which means its contents are lost when the device is powered off;
It allows the computer to read data quickly to run applications.
There are mainly two types of RAM i;e (1) Static RAM & (2) Dynamic RAM.

RAM chips can read data faster than ROM.
It is used for both read and write
RAM needs electricity to flow to retain information & erased any number of times when the computer is switched off.

If you understand RAM in a simple language then it is clear that RAM helps a device to perform efficiently and fast.Your phones and computers processor may be whatever but if your device having less RAM then your device will not perform well. Phones and computers having less RAM always lag and hang. You will not able to use your device very fast. So, always choose the devices having more RAM because it will help you to work properly.

ROM
It is also known as "Read Only Memory". ROM is a form of data storage that can not be easily altered or reprogrammed.It stores the program required to initially boot the computer. It is also a main part of your device. It is the inbuilt storage of the devices. Without ROM there are impossible to data storage. If the device have a good ROM then the device will perform excellent. Sometimes your device may be full of storage then you will notice that the phone will became slower. And the processor will also not work properly. So, by deleting some files you can create space.

Some characteristics of ROM;

It only allows reading.
It is non-volatile i.e; its contents are retained even when the device is powered off.
The types of ROM include PROM, EPROM & EEPROM.

It can read data slower than RAM.
It will retained data without flow of electricity,data in ROM is permanently written & is not erased when you power off your computer.

Now-a-time the phone and computer manufacturers making devices having more ROM. We can get a good budget phone having 32GB to 64GB inbuilt storage/ ROM in very lower price. In computers you get more ROM as compare to smartphones. In computers you can get a ROM of 500GB, 1TB and so on. Most of the phones having a dedicated microSD card slot which provide a smartphone to add some extra storage space. But if your phone having more inbuilt storage/ ROM then you may don't need a microSD card.
